Expected weird sizing because of the weird combination of upper and sole. However, I’d suggest just going for your own size. They do fit kinda snug, but that is how I like my shoes personally. Surprisingly comfortable shoes btw! Also, these do look kinda big on feet because of the “traditional” sole with Goodyear welt, so keep that in mind.

For my feeling i'm in between true to size and a half size down. I prefer these in a true to size when laced to the top. Half size down felt like it could cause complaints after while.
